With Women’s day around the corner there is no better time for an amazing outdoor music event to Celebrate the great women of South Africa.
For a single day Sheer Entertainment and Breakout Management bring together a star-studded female lineup for a loud and proud women’s day concert celebration. Get ready for “Tribute To Women”, the first of what is planned as an annual celebration Concert on Women’s Day, taking place at the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens overlooking the Emmarentia Dam.
Festival Director Joe Chakela: “I have been producing the Divas event at Macufe for many years and I have seen it grow into on a prime event. It was the obvious next step was to provide a regular platform with which to celebrate and showcase the talent as a concert in Johannesburg where I live. I could not think of a more central and scenically beautiful space than the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens for an afternoon out with the family or friends with a picnic basket enjoying our diverse line up.”
Forming part of the line-up are some of South Africa’s biggest and most respected female musical acts Mafikizolo Zonke, Mafikizolo, Lady Zamar, Sho Madjozi and introducing opening act Zamo.
The show encourages a picnic blanket and basket feel and attendees will be able to bring their own food. For those who would prefer to purchase food and beverages on arrival, there will be a wide variety of gourmet and local food vendors available as well as fully stocked bars.
